Our Story
It all began with a vision. In 2006, Stuart Mclean saw an opportunity to give New Zealand businesses better access to industrial pallet racking solutions. What started as a side hustle quickly gained momentum when Stuart formed a partnership with a trusted Chinese supplier in 2009. Suddenly, affordable, high-quality racking became a reality for businesses across Aotearoa.
By 2012, the business had outgrown its humble beginnings. Enter Carl Tinker – Stuart’s good mate and a passionate entrepreneur. After immersing himself in the industry, Carl took the reins, transforming Rack ‘n’ Stack into the go-to provider it is today.
For Carl, Rack ‘n’ Stack is truly a family affair—his wife and two sons are part of the team, keeping the business grounded in family values. But it’s not all work and no play! As proud supporters of local Canterbury cycling events, Carl and the team don’t just stand on the sidelines—they jump in the saddle and compete in cycling events themselves.
